He studied very little, but he had natural intelligence, he became a radio and television technician, this was the profession he practiced.  He collaborated a lot with the underground station and cooperated with the Radio Rebelde teams.  He was creative, a great man, simple and noble, above all very revolutionary, fighter and much loved by all.

He participated in several sessions of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power in Bayamo, mainly those that dealt with issues of culture and history.  He was the one who proposed the name to the General Calixto García promenade and vehemently defended that black heroes also appear in historical monuments.

He was a faithful defender of what is ours, of what is Creole, for feeling appreciation and affection for the things that surrounded him.  His desire to walk, as he always did in the streets of Bayamo, was demonstrated until the last minute of his breath when he replied to the president of the provincial assembly of People's Power shortly before his death that "he had never felt better" than at that moment.
