atabey

This cave is located on the Cabo Cruz karst plateau, characterized by the presence of dog teeth and other typical elements of these landscapes.  The cave, carved out of limestone rock, coincides in its bed with the water table.  It is 80m long, 120m wide and 17m deep.  Due to studies carried out on it, it is possible that it was used by the aborigines for ceremonial purposes.

Located in the Cabo Cruz Community, a rural site in the southern end of Cuba, in the Municipality of Niquero, Granma Province.

 The House of the Lighthouse Keeper is a single-story, quadrangular building with masonry walls and a tiled roof.  It has more than 15 rooms that are distributed around an interior patio, through which they communicate through an O-shaped corridor, leaving a terrace at the end of the building that gives its views facing the sea.

The cave is located on the Cabo Cruz karst plateau, within the typical landscape of this relief, where dog's tooth, sinkholes and other elements abound.

 Its entrance is through organ-detritic limestone rocks.  It is 75m long, 50m wide and 7m deep.

 The presence of outstanding archaeological values of the agro-pottery and pre-agro-pottery stages is also evident here, which can be seen in the numerous archaeological sites found there, some of them with petroglyphs, pictographs and other archaeological evidence.

Inaugurated on September 14, 1856, in whose execution and subsequent regulations, figures such as Carlos Manuel de Céspedes y del Castillo, Bartolomé Masó Márquez, Rafael Oro, Don José Caymari, Fray Luis Ramírez and Lieutenant Governor Felipe de Castro stood out.

Located on Villuendas Street, corner of Maceo Street, Popular Council # 4 Celia Sánchez Manduley, Urban Historic Center, Manzanillo Municipality.  19th century building with a simple eclectic façade with two levels and an approximate height of 14 meters.
